I love getting my eyebrows threaded because having fresh eyebrows is the best thing in the world! Indian women are the best at doing it and it seems they’re perfect at giving you the right arch. Ow!

Cha-Chiiing
You know what sucks? Being a broke college student living paycheck to paycheck. Its the crappiest thing you have to do besides stress yourself out over finals or writing 19 page research papers. But you know what else sucks? Not really being able to call in when you feel crappy cause you really need the money. I have a toothache that is radiating to my ear on up to my head and I couldn’t stay home because I NEED THE MONEY.

Today marks the first day of practice for letting things just roll off my shoulders and I’ll say I pretty much failed that test. I had a patient scream at me today for waking them up to take their blood pressure (which is my job by the way!) and I really wanted to scream back although I didn’t, I was fuming though. I can’t take the credit for having a great deal of restraint or anything because I obviously couldn’t do what I felt the patient really deserved, which was a good thrashing, while the nurse was standing right there. So, I just walked away. I actually should get some brownie points for that now that I think about it but whatev. I’m almost on my way to thinking only zen thoughts…
